Client Background
The client, a passionate sustainability professional and Certified Internal Auditor, came to me with over 13 years of diverse experience across multiple industries, including government, healthcare, telecom, and construction. Despite having a strong background in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and sustainability analysis, their existing resume lacked the professional polish and targeted messaging required to secure senior financial leadership roles. They also needed help aligning their profile with industry standards to stand out to potential employers.
The Challenge
Incoherent Presentation:

Incorporating Metrics:
Achievements were ified in terms of cost savings, enhancement of productivity, and successful implementation of policies and frameworks to indicate a level of impact.
Ensure ATS Compatibility:
Keywords such as “Sustainability Reporting,” “Internal Control Systems,” and “Governance, Risk, and Compliance” were utilized to augment ATS effectiveness.
Results Achieved
The polished executive summary began the resume with a statement of the candidate as a strategic leader in the areas of financial management or sustainability.
